Dr. Bouaffo Joseph Kouame is a multitalented professional with over twenty-five years of experience in Business and Technology, Information Technology (IT) Management, IT Governance and Leadership, Ethics Theories, Database Management Systems (DBMS), Software Engineering, Sales and Marketing, Business Strategy, Strategic Information System Planning, Management Consulting, Technology Education, Information Security, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Over the years, Dr. Kouame worked as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA), Software Engineer, and IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Thomson Financial, Predictive Systems, Bell Atlantic, Global One Communications, UUNET, WorldCom, MCI, Interim age, Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), a department of the U.S. Navy, PNC Bank / TEKsystems, Electronic Transaction Consultant (ETC), JBK Logistics, and KME Trading Partners. He is a Database Expert on UNIX, LINUX, and Microsoft Windows Platforms to support most versions of Oracle Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), Sybase, and Informix.

Dr. Kouame holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, a Master of Science in Information Technology, and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a Specialization in Information Technology Management. He is an Independent Consultant in Business and Technology and an Adjunct Professor for several American Universities.

Dr. Kouame is the Owner, CEO, and President of K-12 International Learning Academy (K12-ILA), an independent private institution located in Cocody-Angre 9eme Tranche – CGK, in Abidjan – Ivory Coast. This educational Institution delivers an international curricular, mostly based on the US Education System through its experienced and vocational staff. The Founder of K12-ILA, Dr. KOUAME, has built a solid experience and various skillsets to deliver academic improvement and achievement. The vision and goal of K12-ILA will be achieved through its qualified and dedicated teaching, administrative, and supporting staff, to establish a reputable and successful K-12 international school in Abidjan. K12-ILA aims to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for students to develop their skills and knowledge, foster a strong sense of community and collaboration among students, staff, and parents, and promote the use of technology in teaching and learning to enhance the educational experience.
Dr. Kouame is the Founder and President of Education Sans Frontières, Inc., a non-profit organization headquartered in Maryland, USA. Education Sans Frontières (ESF) was established to provide aid for low-income communities and help achieve their educational necessities. Through Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), these communities will improve the quality of education system, knowledge, management and leadership. He is an Advocate for transforming and improving global education with emerging technologies.

Dr. Kouame is the Author of Improving Education with Emerging Technologies, a book that presents the conclusions and practical recommendations of his Doctoral Research Study entitled “The Digital Divide in Côte d’Ivoire: The Impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) on Education” conducted in 2010. This book contributes to transform and improve global education with ICTs as per Dr. Kouame’s research findings and conclusions.

Dr. Kouame is married and father of three children. He enjoys technology, business, literature, sports and spending time with his family. He is fluent in English and French.
